OMS appoints Jim Buston as Client Solutions Executive - 07-10-2010
UK-based specialist measurement technology company Optical Metrology Services (OMS) Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Buston as the company’s Client Solutions Executive.
Based at OMS’ UK office in Bishop’s Stortford, Jim will be responsible for seeking out new business and potential applications for OMS technology, on a global basis. The role will include sales, marketing and business development, as well as attending a variety of international trade fairs and exhibitions.
Prior to his new role, Jim spent six years working for a UK-based laser cutting & marking company, initially as a laser technician, but more recently as Technical Sales Manager. Despite very difficult market conditions, Jim helped his previous employer achieve outstanding sales growth over the last couple of years, personally achieving sales in excess of £1 million this year.
Jim also has experience in exhibition management, technical training and in providing teaching laser applications and theory to both academic and industrial clients.
