OMS completes its full suite of measurement and inspection services to the Al Khalij Sumud pipeline project, including pipe end measurement, equipment validation, spool fabrication, SmartFit™, laser inspection and offshore weld inspection. The project involves several varieties of 16” pipe and pipeline sections, including riser pipe and mother pipe. Work is taking place in several locations including France, where onshore measurement is being carried out, including pre and post concrete weight coating (CWC) analysis for assurance, Malaysia, where onshore camera inspection will be done and installation offshore in Qatar.
