OMS was contracted by BAE Systems to measure a variety of CRA-lined and super duplex pipes, bends and connectors and provide fit-up services for the Woodside-owned Julimar project. Pipes to be measured included straight pipes, complex connection pieces and induction bends, which had to be assembled into prefabricated spool kits, with nesting analysis carried out. The project team met complicated specifications while avoiding the need for pup pieces, achieving the lowest possible HiLo and ensuring integrity was maintained throughout this critical pipeline section.
