22,000 pipe welds inspected in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
OMS has completed Phase 2 of Hasbah’s offshore project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for EMAS/ Subsea 7. Hasbah is one of the largest CRA pipelines in the world.
Well done to all of our teams who have inspected around 22,000 welds, leading the welding contractor to an acceptance rate of 99.2%.
The development is the second phase of the Hasbah offshore gas field situated in the Arabian Gulf, and is part of Saudi Aramco’s target to supply an additional 2,500 mmscfd of clean natural gas through the Fadhili Gas Plant to meet KSAs growing domestic energy demand and reduce crude oil burning.
