January 2023: OMS welcomes new team members
OMS is delighted to welcome new members of staff for 2023 - Raluca Patru, John Salter and Imoh Adegbola. Raluca Patru and John Salter join our operations team. Raluca takes on the role of Logistics Co-ordinator and will be responsible for all import and export requirements as well as looking after our team of operators around the world and travel arrangements. Her previous experience includes roles co-ordinating import and export for leading freight forwarders, Noatum Logistics, and in operations administration for Brakes RDC.
John joins as Project Engineer. He will be working with Stoyko Boussarov, OMS Equipment Manager, to support OMS projects, including managing and mobilising equipment, providing technical support for operators in the field, building and testing new tools, developing new testing methods and staff training. John’s previous experience includes working for electronics recycling specialists Bamboo Distribution, where he worked in several roles including IT support across sites in the UK and Europe, logistics and supervising the company’s project to manage electronics repairs and returns for retail giant, Amazon.
Jake Barber, OMS Operations Manager, said, ‘We’re very happy to welcome Raluca and John to the operations team. Raluca’s extensive experience in import, export and logistics will provide vital support to the team in organising our complex projects around the world. John’s technical and managerial skills are welcome additions to the team and will help us manage growing numbers of client projects effectively.’
Imoh Adegbola joins our R&D team as Production Technician and Stores Supervisor, having worked with us on a contract basis for several months. Peter Watson, OMS Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, said, ‘Imoh’s technical skills, attention to detail and work ethic impressed us over the months he was a temporary employee. We’re delighted he’s joined the team as a permanent member.’
