OMS presented with fourth King’s Award

Essex Deputy Lieutenant, Keith Attwood, and his wife, Sally, visited OMS on Tuesday 8 September to present our fourth King’s/Queen’s Award for Innovation. OMS won the award for our AGILITY range of robotic crawlers which enable laser measurement and camera inspection in hard-to-reach locations. This helps our clients in the energy industry confirm weld quality, improve installation efficiency and build assets that are stronger, safer and longer lasting.

Awarded to only 185 organisations in 2026, the King’s Awards are one of the most prestigious for UK businesses, won by businesses that have demonstrated outstanding achievement in innovation, international trade, sustainability or promoting opportunity through social mobility. OMS has previously won Queen’s Award for Innovation in 2020, 2014 and 2007, one of very few businesses to achieve four awards.
