OMS welcomes new starters Nick Porter and Caroline Hummel

OMS is delighted to welcome two new members of staff – Nick Porter joins the R&D team as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, and Caroline Hummel joins the sales and marketing team as our new Sales and Office Co-ordinator. In addition, former Prototype Wireperson Ani Atanasova has now joined the R&D team as a Junior Production Engineer.

Nick is an accomplished design engineer with many years of experience gained in roles at prestigious companies such as Werner UK and Newton Equipment. He holds one patent, with another pending, and has wide-ranging skills both in creating bespoke items from concept to production and in project management.

Peter Watson, OMS Projects Delivery Manager, said, ‘The R&D team is delighted to welcome Nick as our latest Senior Design Engineer. His skills and impressive experience will be an important addition as we continue to refine our existing technology and develop new systems. We also congratulate Ani on moving on to the next stage of her engineering career with OMS.’

Caroline brings a wealth of organisational and operations skills to the sales team. She has wide-ranging experience from her previous roles working for household name companies such as Marks & Spencer, where she was Operations and Hospitality Team Manager for several years, and Savills, where she spent the early part of her career as a town planner.

Paul Eagle, OMS Sales Director, said, ‘We’re very pleased Caroline has joined the sales team. She has a range of skills developed in her previous roles that will help us continue to provide and improve on the high levels of customer services our clients expect, particularly as the company grows and takes on more complex projects. Caroline’s experience of demanding organisational environments such as busy retail stores and council planning departments, alongside her customer service skills and scheduling expertise are a very welcome addition to the team.’
