OMS is working with four major global pipe mills to implement laser measurement services that improve processes and boost production efficiency. Our laser-pipe end dimensioning systems are deployed at the machining stage to provide the vital data clients need to make decisions about their pipes. Our clients can take rapid remedial action for any pipe found to be out-of-specification, while their clients can be certain that pipes delivered to a project have been pre-qualified as meeting criteria before leaving the mill. Efficiency is thus improved at both important stages of pipeline construction.
