Operations and mechatronics teams grow in 2025

Two new members have recently joined the OMS team in our operations and mechatronics teams. In addition, Simon Bumpstead has been promoted to Wiring Manager.

Andrew Gilham, OMS Mechatronics Manager, said, ‘We’d like to congratulate Simon on his promotion to Wiring Manager, which is very well deserved after his impressive performance in his previous role.’

OMS also welcomes two graduate Data Analysts to the operations team. Kerry Searle and James Burberry join our operations team having recently completed their degree in maths, and physics.

Kerry has a maths degree from the University of Southampton, where she studied advanced fluid dynamics, graph theory, statistical modelling and more, gaining experience in several programming languages. James has a first-class degree in physics from Manchester University. His work experience includes AI projects for companies such as Manchester City Football Group and Accenture.

Jake Barber, OMS Operations Manager, said, ‘Data analysis is a vital part of the work that we do at OMS. Kerry and James have been taken on so we can significantly increase capacity and improve provision of services to our customers even further.’

Alex Felce, OMS CEO, said, ‘OMS has a firm commitment to supporting our team members in their professional development, both at the start of their careers and throughout later stages. We’re very pleased to welcome Kerry and James onboard, where they will make valuable additions to the team. We are also pleased to share the news of Simon’s promotion, which is very well deserved after three very successful years at OMS. Good luck to all in their new roles.’
