Caring for the environment
OMS is committed to sustainability across all our operations. We ask employees to keep sustainability at the front of their minds and have appointed a dedicated company champion to help us reduce our carbon footprint. Where it is possible we always choose the sustainable option.
Electric cars and bicycles
OMS encourages employees to walk or cycle to work where possible and has shower facilities at the office. We operate a salary sacrifice scheme to allow staff to purchase electric vehicles and new bicycles. Our offices are equipped with high speed EV charging points where employees can charge their vehicles for free.
Air travel
Although much of our work is based overseas OMS limits air travel as much as possible and works remotely wherever we can. Read more about our remote working capabilities here.
Office fixtures
OMS offices are equipped with low energy motion sensitive LED lighting throughout. We have fitted a new office area with recycled flooring and commit to replacing office fixtures with environmentally friendly alternatives as we refurbish our buildings.
Recycling
At our offices in the UK we recycle office waste, cardboard and paper, food and as much engineering waste as possible.
