As part of its ambitious plans to grow the business, leading precision measurement specialist, Optical Metrology Services (OMS), has made three new appointments. Hugh Davies, has been promoted to business development director, while Paul Eagle and Shihab Nasr have joined the team as head of client solutions and client solutions executive respectively.
The trio of appointments strengthen OMS’ sales and business development offering, guaranteeing exceptional service for the company’s global customer base. Having been with OMS for over six years, Davies has moved from his previous role as head of client relationships to business development director to support the organisation’s drive to further grow operations and explore new markets, including nuclear.
Paul Eagle joins OMS from Camelot, operator of the UK National Lottery, where he held a number of senior sales roles and was responsible for a large staff portfolio. Here, he held the role of national training manager and, more recently, was a member of the customer business team, responsible for some of the organisation’s largest retail customers. Paul was brought on board at OMS to head up its dynamic sales team and ensure it can best meet the growing needs of its global customer base.
The strengthened sales team is topped off with the appointment of Shihab Nasr as client solutions executive. Shihab joins from Arabian Petroleum Supply Co. where he held the position of business development manager. Based in Saudi Arabia, he was responsible for the management and development of key projects, spanning sectors including oil and gas. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and business insight about the Middle East.
Denise Smiles, CEO of OMS, commented: “I’m delighted to announce the further growth of our sales and business development team with three new appointments. We are hugely ambitious and have high expectations on what we deliver for our customers. We pride ourselves on our understanding of clients’ businesses and the challenges they face to complete projects on time and on budget. Through attracting and retaining the right people at OMS, we will be able to continue this.”
